Review of The Lorax! So loved this movie, find out why.

It is movies like these that have me torn between a career in film and a career in strictly animation. I have loved the Dr. Seuss books ever since I was a wee girl and it has been fun to see them come to life on the big screen. I was in fact thrilled when they came out with, "Whorton Hears a Who", and that was a fun one to watch. But while the digitally animated depiction of, "Whorton Hears a Who", only sort of tickled my fancy, I felt that the depiction of this lovable story, "The Lorax", was by far the best of the Dr. Seuss reenactments. The Animation was very vivid with the beautiful art of the beloved Dr. Seuss being brought in perfectly to the film and enhanced to the power of ten. The film tickled my eyes, my fancy and my funny bone. It was a very cute film with just the right amount of funny, not over the top in any way and the art was just out of this world. The film completely took me back to my childhood and I think told the story very touchingly. I left the film with a giddy smile on my face and not only did I love it, but it actually kept my 10-month-old nephew from being too rambunctious in the packed theater. I would recommend this film to anyone of any age that likes animated, Dr. Seuss, and comedy films. I would absolutely give it a five out of five stars.

Check back in on Tuesday for my review of , the latest Batman movie, "The Dark Knight", and my thought of how the tragedy of Colorado affected my enjoyment of the film.
